Robert Guaderrama is an Emmy-winning reporter with 10 years of on-air experience. He joined the FOX35 Orlando team as the Government and Politics reporter in 2019, he is also a fill-in anchor for all shows. Robert has covered major stories in Central Florida like President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign kick-off rally and the SpaceX first manned launch from Cape Canaveral.

Prior to Orlando, Robert worked at FOX19 Now Cincinnati,  where he was a morning reporter and anchor. While with FOX19, Robert won a breaking news Emmy for leading coverage of the Ray Tensing murder retrial. He also covered the 2016 Presidential campaign and the funeral for Muhammad Ali and the Cincinnati Zoo Harambe incident.

Before WXIX, Robert was the morning anchor and morning managing editor at KTSM in El Paso. Before KTSM, Robert was an Anchor/Reporter at KOSA in Midland/Odessa, TX. Robert is an award-winning journalist with several awards to his name including the 2017 National Association of Hispanic Journalists Excellence in Journalism Award for “Latino Issues.” Robert also won “Best Daytime Newscast” and “Best Specialty-Beat Reporter,” both awarded to him by the Texas Association of Press Broadcasters.

Robert is a Southern California native and attended California State University, Fullerton where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. Before moving to Texas, Robert was an intern producer for NBC Los Angeles. He was also selected as the lead multi-platform reporter for the National Association of Hispanic Journalist’s 2010 Convention in Denver, Colorado. Robert is in the process of completing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration Leadership from the University of Texas.

Before news Robert worked as an entertainer for the Walt Disney Company. At the Disneyland Resort, he performed in several shows and entertained guests from around the world.

In his spare time you can catch him staying fit at the gym, spending time with his puppy or watching a flick at the movie theater.
